John Graham, DDS, MD
Litchfield Park, AZ
Dr. Graham is one of only a few orthodontists in the US who is also a licensed physician and has trained in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He has considerable clinical experience in miniscrew temporary orthodontic anchorage and has been published widely in professional journals and books. His understanding of craniofacial growth, facial esthetics and jaw surgery offers a unique perspective to the VectorTAS team.
Dr. Graham earned his BS degree from Brigham Young University, his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, and his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. After medical school, Dr. Graham completed an internship in general surgery followed by training in oral and maxillofacial surgery, during which he performed an array of different surgical procedures. His surgical training stimulated strong interest in facial growth and orthodontics, an interest that took him to Rochester, New York, where he received his certificate in orthodontics from the University of Rochester Eastman Dental Center.
Dr. Graham is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics, lectures throughout the US on the use of miniscrews for facial surgery and temporary orthodontic anchorage and is an adjunct associate professor for clinical orthodontics at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A.
